摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum material excellent in high temp. strength without deteriorating workability. SOLUTION: This aluminum material is obtained by carrying out cold working after hot extrusion. This material has an alloy composition which consists of, by weight, 0.5-1.5% Mn and the balance Al with impurities and in which the contents of Fe, Si, Mg, and Cu, as impurities, are limited, by weight, to <=0.4%, <=0.4%, <=0.5%, and <=0.5%, respectively, and also other impurity elements are limited to <=0.2%, respectively, and also has an alloy structure in which the amount of Mn as solid solution is >=0.3 wt.% and the number of intermetallic compounds of >=1μm major axis is regulated to <=1×10<4> pieces/mm<2> . Further, the alloy structure after hot extrusion is a recrystallized structure, and draft at cold working is regulated to 5-30%.
