PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lock and unlock a vehicle door using a portable telephone set by providing a control means which locks and unlocks a key based on the detected code signal when the predetermined code signal is included in company with the predetermined key inputting for which locking and unlocking the key is instructed by the portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A keyless entry device mounted on vehicle 1 can be remotely operated by any of a key 7 incorporating a normal transmitter and a portable telephone set 5. Next, a code signal detection part 21c detects a code signal included in the radio wave received through an antenna 3 and a reception circuit 5, and a distinguishing part 21d distinguishes whether an ID code for individual distinguishing which is included in the detected code signal coincides with the ID code memorized in a ROM 21b in advance or not. When they coincide, a control part 21e drives and controls actuators 13, 15 to lock and unlock the key by corresponding to a function code included in the code signal detected by the detection part 21c. Consequently, it is possible to lock and unlock the key by the telephone set 5, even if the key 7 is lost.
