<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cutting efficiently at a low cost by a method wherein a rear part area cutter part having a cutting end edge facing foreward at a specific height above a main body of an upright center plane, and a depth gauge part of a front part area equipped with a first part which is respectively at a specific angle with a horizontal plane to a central plane projected above the main body and a second part behind that, are provided. SOLUTION: A depth gauge part 52 is provided in a front area 32b of a main body part 32, and is protruded upwards. Its upper end edge surface 58 extends in a projected arcuated curve continuously upward from a front part area of the depth gauge 52, and has a front part 52a of a first part and a rear part 52b of a second part. As the rear part is approached, an upper part area of the first part 52a is separated by 2 deg. to 90 deg. angle from one end of a center surface, and an upper area of a second part 52b is separated by 2 deg. to 90 deg. a second angle different from the first angle from a middle plane to reduce friction contact between a depth gauge side part and a side wall of a section to be cut. By increase of a crest surface area of the depth gauge, prevention of kickback and exclusion of chips are executed without structural weakening, excellent control is executed for cutting within a section of a worked piece, and effective cutting can be executed.</p> |
