PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider of a free type or with an automatic stop device whose postfitting work for a tab and automatic assembling of a slider are facilitated. SOLUTION: A slider is so constituted that a cantilever fitting rod 10 provided with a clearance part 11 at a prescribed interval is projected to the top surface of a guide post 5 of a top vane, a clearance part 14 is formed in a space to the top vane 3 in the tip of the fitting rod 10, and a vertical hole 16 extending to the guide post 5 is bored in the clearance part 11 in a base part 12 so as to be formed into a spring storage part 15. An inclined surface 17 is provided toward the vertical hole 16 in the bottom of the clearance part 11, and a suppression rod 20 which has one end being in an elastic contact with a spring 26 fitted in the vertical hole 16 and has a hook part 24 in its tip is fitted in the clearance part 11 so as to be swingingly journalled to the fitting rod 10 so that the clearance part 14 is formed to be sealed by a hook part 24. A various types of tabs can be thus postfitted by raising up the suppression rod 20 from the clearance part 14. |
