The combustion chamber (1) is constructed with a central spark plug and an eccentric injector. It is formed by a cavity (4), in the cylinder head, as a roof shape, with a central ridge (12), which extends between the inlet openings (7,8) and the exhaust openings (9,10). The eccentric injector (16) opening into the combustion chamber, between the diametral vertical planes (P1,P2) of the inlet openings. The upper surface of the sliding piston (3) forms the lower surface of the combustion chamber and has a cavity (26) centred under the spark plug. A channel leading from the cavity forms an extension of the cavity which leads towards the injector. |
