PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specular roll capable of giving an upgraded specular surface to a sheet by sandwiching it by uniformed pressure by absorbing thickness unevenness of resin. SOLUTION: The roll 1 for molding a sheet is a roll for molding a smooth surface in an extrusion sheet molding machine for extrusion molding of a plastic sheet having at least one surface of smooth surface, and comprises an axial core 2, a rubber layer 3 covering the core, and a metal layer covering the rubber layer. And, the metal layer is formed of a tubular material 4, and at least its one end is projected from an end face of the layer 3 and a deviation preventive member 5 having a fixing horizontal surface 5a and a contact vertical surface 5b is disposed between a projecting end of the material 4 and an end face 3a of the core. And, the surface 5a is fixed to an inner surface 4a of a projecting end of the tubular material, and the surface 5b is brought into contact with the face 2a of the core. Thus, a lateral deviation of the material 4 to the layer 3 is prevented. |
