PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent coloring of polycarbonate in an extruder due to oxidation deterioration by introducing inert gas into a material inlet of the extruder, and molding the polycarbonate in a sheet state by the extruder while substituting the air in the inlet for the gas. SOLUTION: Polycarbonate pellet is input from a material hopper to an extruder. The polycarbonate is fed into a die installed at an end of the extruder by a screw while heating and melting the polycarbonate in the extruder. The polycarbonate of a melted state extruded in the wide sheet state in the die is regulated in its plate thickness by rolls, surface formed and cooled to be solidified to obtain the polycarbonate sheet. Here, it is extrusion molded while substituting the air in the inlet for inert gas. That is, a tube of the gas is directly introduced into the inlet to diffuse the gas or the tube is introduced into the hopper, and a site from the hopper to the inlet of the extruder is charged with the gas. |
