PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having variable dot size in which printing is performed using a photo ink while reducing the cost of the printer. SOLUTION: A printer head comprises heads 3Y, 3M, 3C and 3K for jetting an normal ink and heads 3Yp, 3Mp, 3Cp and 3Kp for jetting a photo ink. The head for photo ink has a smaller number of nozzles than the head for normal ink. According to the arrangement, the number of drivers for driving the nozzles can be decreased and the cost of the printer can be reduced. |
