<p>The synchronous electric machine comprises a stator and a rotor, provided with a device forming rotor excitation windings. The rotor excitation device (2) includes permanent magnets (3) as well as the excitation windings. The excitation windings on the one hand, and the permanent magnets on the other hand, provide a nominal part of the magnetic flux. Each pole of the rotor (2) comprises a permanent magnet (3) which is arranged symmetrically w.r.t. the polar axis (X-X), such that slots (4) associated with this pole are arranged on either side of the magnet (3). These slots extend parallel to the polar axis (X-X).</p> |
