<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating organic substance waste material in which action is easily performed and control for putrefaction of waste material is allowed effectively and rapidly and contamination of sewage seeping therefrom is neutralized. SOLUTION: The method for treating organic substance waste material comprises a process for preparing a site, a process for placing a pipe 2 on the site, a process for plasing a first layer 5 constituted of pumice or ballast and the other siliceous material similar thereto on the pipe and a process for alternately placing a layer 6 of organic substance waste material and an intermediate layer 105, which is constituted of pumice or the other siliceous material and has thickness smaller than the thickness of the first layer, in many layers on the first layer. The above-mentioned pipe 2 is shaped into a coil and equipped with many holes and one end is closed and other end is connected to a suction means. Material collected through the pipe is decanted and/or discharged into a mixing tank 6. The tank is equipped with a floor 204 made of pumice completely immersed in water.</p> |
