Process and material for well cementing

Cementation of ground well drillings is claimed, in which a liquid material comprising a modified phenol-formaldehyde resin is injected from the surface. The following preparation stages are effected: modification of the resin by a determined amount of furfuryl alcohol to produce a setting time compatible with the injection time and conditions at the base of the well, particularly temperature and pressure; addition of a mineral filler inert to the resin to give a determined viscosity during injection. Also claimed is the thermohardenable resin composition for cementation.
