PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer enabling the easy homogenization of the temperature of each of catalyst parts, and to provide a fuel cell apparatus capable of stably generating electricity. SOLUTION: In this fuel reformer, a hydrogen-containing gas 104 is generated by feeding methanol 103, air 101 and water 102 respectively to plural catalyst parts 19 and reacting, with each other. The fuel reformer is provided with a manifold body 20 for directly feeding methanol 103, air 101 and water 102 in such a manner that each of the materials is equally distributed to each catalyst part 19, and for collectively sending out the hydrogen-containing gas portions 104 generated at every catalyst part. A methanol vaporizer 13 for vaporizing methanol 103 is connected to a methanol distributor 23 of the manifold body 20 via a methanol receiving tube 14, and a water vaporizer 8 for vaporizing water 102 is connected to a water distributor 22 of the manifold body 20 via a water-receiving tube 9. On the other hand, heat exchange between the methanol 103 and the hydrogen-containing gas 104 is enabled between the methanol-receiving tube 14 and a hydrogen-feeding tube 18, and also at the methanol distributor 23. |
