PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control apparatus, etc., which can process print data with securing a color or a count of colors required by a user without interrupting the printing even if ink is left little. SOLUTION: The amount of remaining ink utilizable for printing is detected (S5), and concurrently with this, the amount of necessary ink for printing print data to be printed in a size to be printed is calculated. When the calculated amount of necessary ink is larger than the amount of remaining ink, the print data are compressed on the basis of the amounts of necessary ink and remaining ink (S7), and generated compressed print data are printed with the ink (S8). |
