PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dentifrice composition having high discoloration removing effects with hardly damaging teeth, by combining a disintegrable granules with specific polishing powder and adding the mixture to a dentifrice. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing (A) disintegrable granules having 100-500μm average particle diameter and 0.1-10 g/granule with (B) polishing powder having 2-6 Mohs hardness and 0.5-5μm average- particle diameter. The amount of the granules of the component A is 1-50 wt.%, that of the polishing powder of the component B is 0.5-10 wt.%. and is preferably smaller than the amount of the granules of the component A. For example, zeolite, calcium carbonate, calcium secondary phosphate anhydride, hydroxyapatite, etc., may be cited as the polishing powder and zeolite is preferable among them.
