MANUFACTURE OF INK JET HEAD AND INK JET PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the bonding strength between an edge face of an ink jet head and an orifice plate. SOLUTION: In an ink jet head 1, each of electrodes 3a-3c of a piezoelectric body base 2 and an electrode 4 of each of intermediate piezoelectric bodies 5a-5c are bonded with each other by a conductive bonding member 9 and an electrode 6 of each of the intermediate piezoelectric bodies 5a-5c and a common electrode 7 of a top plate 8 are bonded with each other by a conductive bonding member 9 to form a plurality of ink chambers 10. A coat layer 10a of a thin film having a thickness of a fewμm is formed on an inner wall of each of the ink chambers 10 by using a silicone having a high insulation degree and a low viscosity as a material. An orifice plate is bonded to a bonding face 1a of the ink jet head 1.
