The means for treatment is designed to protect wood fromfungi and moulds, insects, fire, humidity and other injuriousenvironmental effects. It is used in the woodfelling andwoodworking industries, in civil works, in the repair andrestoration of buildings, of elements of interior architecture,museum exhibits, works of art made of wood, and others. The meansincludes, as active component, at least one antiseptic -insecticide and/or fungicide, or a substance with insecticidic andfungicidic activity selected from the group of one or more naturaland/or manmade pyrethroids, xylene and/or toluene, butylacetate,tri-butyl-stannic oxide and/or tri-butyl-stannic acetate, neguphon(0,0-dimethyl-(1-oxy-2,2,2-trichlorethyl)phosponate, botunate(0,0-dimethyl(1-butyroxy-2,2,2-trichloretyl)phosphonate, sodiumfluoride, sodium silicofluoride, hydrophobing agent selected fromthe group of synthetic resins such as pentaphtalic and carbamideformaldehyde, and linseed oil, at least one antipyrene of thegroup of borax, boric acid, diammonium phosphate, ammouniumsulphate, optionally a solvent, stabilizer and fixative,siccative, wetting agent and colourant.
