The metallohydride electrode is used in alkaline batteriesfor the e.ectronics where the reduction of the overall dimensionsof the electronic part is of significance. In comparison with thecadmium electrodes it has increased energy density, longeroperational life, having no toxic and concerogenous materials, aswell as low internal resistance. The electrode consists of waterabsorption material - LaNi5 or TiNi2, carbon material with activesurface from 100 to 2000 m_/g in quantities from 0.5 to 20 wt.%from the mase of the water absorption alloy and binding materialfrom 0.5 to 15 wt.% of the mase of the alloy. |
