The invention concerns a nozzle arrangement in a blowing box or other corresponding blowing box of a paper machine, said arrangement comprising one or more nozzles 30 in conjunction with the blowing box 20, through which air blowing can be directed toward a moving device of the paper machine situated in the immediate vicinity of it, like a screen, drying cylinder, guide roll, felt or some other corresponding device. The blowing box 20 and nozzles 30 on it are arranged at a certain functional safety spacing from said moving device. The nozzle 30 includes a moving nozzle part 32, which is flexibly attached by means of a hinge mechanism 34, 35 to blowing box 20 on a body part 33 that forms a part of it or which is separate by means of a spring 31 so that a screen, a paper lump or the like on encountering the moving nozzle piece 32, a spring 31 is arranged to be compressed so that the moving nozzle piece 32 moves toward the body part 33. Spring 31 is arranged to return the moving nozzle piece 32 to its functional position. <IMAGE>
