The invention relates to 13-hydroxy-tylosinderivativesrepresenting new semisynthetic antibiotics of the macrolide class,and to method for their preparation. The compounds are produced byreduction opening of the oxirane ring of the tylosin after whichthe double bond is hydrogenized. Then the 13-hydroxydihydro- ortetrahydrocompounds are subjected to reaction of oximation, andthe 13-hydroxyoximes - to hydrogenation of the double bond.23 claims
