<p>The invention relates to an installation which controls the functioning of the technological air preheaters of cowper stove furnaces by controlling the functioning of a flame superheater for the air and/or fuel gas required by the cowper stove, whereit keeps constant the optimal functioning parameters of the cowper stove. The controlling installation has two steps of fuel gas and air preheating where the first step makes use of the burnt gases exiting the cowper stove and the second step consis ts of a flame superheater (11) for air and/or fuel gas, connected to an automatic installation (43) which controls the flame of the superheater (11) depending on the temperature of the flame in the combustion chamber (1) of the cowper stove (2).</p> |
