摘要 FIELD: methods of producing liquid iron and liquid steel semiproducts from fine-grained iron-containing material, in particular, reduced sponge iron. SUBSTANCE: method is realized in melting-gasifying zone of melting gasifier in which with supply of carbon-containing material and oxygen-containing gas, and concurrent formation of reducing gas in layer formed from solid carriers of carbon, iron-containing material is melted in case of necessity, after preliminary full reduction. For this purpose, formed in melting gasifier at its upper end in quieting zone of the layer is high-temperature zone of burning and/or gasifying of carbon-containing material with direct supply of oxygen, in which directly introduced is fine-grained iron-containing material. In so doing, with the aid of heat liberated in reaction of conversion of carbon-containing material at least melting of iron-containing material on the surface and its sintering take place. Material is supplied downward and process is intensified by swirling of iron-containing material and oxygen-containing gas. Iron-containing material may be preliminarily mixed with carbon-containing material in zone of burning and/or gasifying. Introduced to zone of preliminary heating and/or direct reduction, where sponge iron is formed, is coke dust. Coke dust, in particular, case may be formed in melting gasifier and carried together with reducing gas, precipitated and supplied to high-temperature zone of burning and/or gasifying. Coke prior to supply to zone of burning and/or gasifying may be mixed with hot iron-containing material. It may be separated in zone of heating and/or direct reduction into fine-grained fraction (preferably less than 0.5 mm) and coarse-grained fraction (0.5-8.0). In this case, the first fraction is introduced into high-temperature zone of burning and/or gasifying, and coarse-grained fraction is supplied directly to melting gasifier, for instance, quieting zone.
