The deck has an I-shaped central concrete beam running lengthwise. On either side there is a concrete side beam (2,2) joined to the central beam by a horizontal slab of concrete (4,4) and a triangular network of vertical plates (3,3) arranged in a zigzag pattern. Each side beam has areas (A,A) where two plates arranged in a V are attached to the beam. The central beam has areas (B) where the plates arranged in a V are joined to it. The side beams have devices (5,5) for attaching cable stays (6,6). These are positioned adjacent to the areas (A,A). The central beam is between 2.5 and 3.5 m thick and the side beams are 0.6 to 0.8 m thick. The distance from the central beam to the side beams is between 10 and 20 m. The concrete slabs are between 0.16 and 0.2 m thick and the vertical plates are between 0.16 and 0.24 m thick.
