This equipment forms a plastic covering skin for an automobile component. The moulding shell (1) is connected to depositors (4) for plastic, which is laid down onto two or more zones (3, 6) of the shell, forming part-overlapping, mutually-bonded sections of the shell. Masking is used during deposition to delimit the zones and forms a detachable seal against the shell.
