FIELD: transport engineering; maintenance and repair of automobiles. SUBSTANCE: lower support of automobile jack has foot hinge mounted on end of lower trough-shaped lever of lever jack. Flexible compensator is installed on lower surface of foot. Lower surface of compensator projects beyond the limits of foot lower surface. Fixing part of compensator passing through hole in foot is made in form of two parallel projections. Distance between projections is smaller than diameter of axle carrying the foot, and height exceeds distance from axle to foot surface. During assembling, axle, inserted into coaxial holes of lever, passing between compensator projections, moves them apart owing to elastic deformation and tightly presses them to foot hole edges, thus providing reliable fastening of compensator.
