A method for separating laminated glass into its different components uses rolls (1-3) to pulverise the glass whilst ensuring that the laminate structure (5) remains intact as a single piece of material. Cog belts (10, 11) are clamped against the laminate and transport it in order for exposed surface areas to be cleaned with brush rolls (12, 13) rotating in the opposite direction to the laminate transport direction. Another separation method is also claimed where sheets of laminated glass are passed between angled rollers in order to pulverise the glass and leave an intact laminate structure, from which the glass can be easily separated. |
