Air drying cartridge

Interchangeable air drying cartridge has a cylindrical casing into which air is admitted, and drawn off, through coaxial tubes (16, 17) at one end which are slid in an airtight manner into corresponding pipes (25, 28) of the equipment, e.g. the airbrake system of trucks. The spaces (7,8,12) in the upper half of the compound cylinder (3,4) are filled with drying pellets (13) which rest on a gas permeable disc (14,15) that is spring loaded at (21) to compress the pellets and compensate relative movement between them.
