The shelving comprises shelf bases connected in the corners to angular profiled supports whose arms set at right angles to each other have fixing points for the shelves formed from shaped tabs (5.1,5.2) set at right angles to each other and fitting into the openings in the side walls of the bases. The connection is made by inserting a pin (8) between the tab and opening. Each two openings are can be arranged one above the other in the side wall in the corner area of the shelf base for linking with the correspondingly superposed tabs. Further openings can be provided in the end sides (10) of the base for adding a further base at the same level.
