An elastomeric product (I) having a high shine, comprises a base material (2) of resin coated at least partially with a base layer (3), and a metallic layer (4) that is corrosion resistant and is 15-800 nm thick and comprises many metallic particles that are arranged such that they are in contact with each other, in order to define a particle border between neighbouring particles. A coating layer (5) covers the metallic layer, and the base layer (3), having a glass transition temperature between -30-0 deg C, contains a silane coupling agent including a mercapto group.
