Reed blades whose upper portions have the form of being bent toward the cloth-fell in the form of a "dogleg" in a state where the reed blades are attached to a water jet loom, and when a fabric is woven with these reed blades, warps of a plurality of thermoplastic synthetic fiber multi-filament yarns each of which has a twisting number of at least 100 per meter or each of which is with tie points formed by interlacing and substantially zero-twisted are used as warps, and each weft is inserted into a weaving shed by means of a stream of ejected water in a state where the abrasion distance of a warp based on the rocking of the reed is decreased by bending the reed blades in the form of the above "dogleg".

|
