Control apparatus for intake throttling valve of IC engine

The apparatus has an acceleration pedal position sensor (10) which detects the operation conditioner of an acceleration pedal. The detected operation condition is relayed to the first target opening setting device (31) of a controller (30) and to an ECU (40). The first target setting device sets a first target opening for the intake throttling valve, based on the detected operation condition of the acceleration pedal. The ECU sets a second target opening for the intake throttling valve, based on the detected operation condition and a detected engine running condition. The detected engine running condition is relayed by a running condition sensor. The target openings are compared by the control device (31) of the controller. The higher value is relayed to a motor (20) that drives the operation of the intake throttling valve. The intake throttling valve is set at the inlet pipe of an IC engine.
