<p>A jaw (12, 14) for a workpiece clamping system (10), the jaw comprising a first member (12a, 14a) having means for mounting the jaw on a suitable support structure (20), a second member (12b, 14b) mounted on said first member and having means for receiving a portion of at least one face of a workpiece, the jaw including means for allowing rotation of said second member relative to said first member. A clamping system is described using four such jaws, two sliding and two fixed with respect to a machine table or intermediate member.</p> |
