Phthalimide derivatives represented by general formula (I) (wherein R<1>, R<3>, and R<4> represent each a hydrogen atom or the like; R<2> represents a carboxyl group or the like; A represents a carbon atom or the like; B<2> represents an optionally substituted aryl group or the like; Y<1> represents an oxygen atom or the like; Z<1> represents an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or the like; t is 0 or an integer of 1 to 4; m and n each independently represents 0 or 1; and Cy represents an optionally substituted aryl group or the like) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and an antiallergic agent containing the same, having IgE and IL-5 production inhibitory activities, and combining efficacy with safety by virtue of selective inhibition of IgE and IL-5 production.
