<p>The invention concerns a method for analysing results of antimicrobial susceptibility tests of micro-organisms, the test consisting in summarily identifying which species the micro-organism belongs to and measuring the minimum inhibitory concentrations (CMI) of several antimicrobial agents for said micro-organism. The method uses a database classifying the micro-organism species and the resistance mechanism to various antimicrobial agents, and containing, for each species and each resistance mechanism, parameters characteristic of the frequency distribution of minimum inhibitory concentrations for a group of antimicrobial agents.</p> |
