Vehicle suspension system

A vehicular suspension system has a sprung leg (2) consisting of a cylinder (3) and a piston (4) moving within the cylinder (3). Hydraulic fluid (6) displaced by the piston (4) is transferred to a reservoir (5) where it impinges on a sprung corrugated metal tube (7) which is an elastic extension of the reservoir (5) wall (8). Alternatively, the reservoir (5) is fabricated using a strengthened elastomer and rests inside a support-housing (9). The space (11) between the wall (8) and support housing (9) is a pneumatic gas reservoir.
