Sprocket and plate-link chain pair for traction transmission

The chain pair includes a plate-link chain with plates and round bolts divided to correspond to the divisions of a sprocket. The sprocket (2) is composed of a pack of adjacent connected toothed discs (12-18) arranged so that adjacent ones are offset by half a pitch. The chain has gaps across its width corresponding to the number and position of the toothed discs, which are connected by screws (19) and rivet head (10). The sprocket has an involute gearing or straight gear cutting.
