Injection moulding tool support esp. for making large foamed sheets

A multi-component injection moulding tool, esp. for reaction foaming, is supported in a carrier which holds the bottom part horizontal in the closed position and allows the top to be hinged open. Actuating arrangements close the mould and apply pressure during the foaming process. During opening the drive (12,13) tilts the bottom part (3) from the horizontal about an axis (5) so that the edge nearer the drive (10) is further from the base (2) than the opposite edge. The tilting motion of the bottom part (3) is coupled through a drive (12,13,15) to the motion of the top part (4).
