A vitro-ceramic plate (2) is claimed in which is cut at least one opening (6) notably destined to receive an atmospheric gas burner (5). At least one part of the side (61) of the opening (6) is shaped and the opening (6) is at the top of a local deformation in the plate. The method of fabricating this vitro-ceramic plate, its utilisation in a cooker or other heating device and the heating device that uses this plate are also claimed.
