PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a charged battery for a plurality of users by charging batteries loaded to a plurality of loading sections through a charging circuit and keeping the charged state while locking such that the charged state and presence of a battery can be confirmed from the outside. SOLUTION: The battery supply unit 42 is provided, at the body section 98 thereof, with a plurality of sections 100 for loading batteries 18. Electrodes 104 to be connected with a charging circuit 102 and a sensor 106 for detecting presence of a battery are arranged on the bottom of the loading section 100. A locking mechanism 108 for blocking removal of the battery 18 is arranged on the inside of the loading section 100 and a light emitting element 110 for indicating the locked state of the battery 18 and a light emitting element 112 for indicating the charged state thereof are arranged at the opening of the loading section 100. According to the arrangement, the rending and returning process of battery is facilitated in the rental system for motor vehicle. |
