According to the invention, a cage (1) for accommodating a cage nut (5) is welded to a body element (2) by means of positioning the two parts at a set distance from each other so that an electric arc (6) can be formed between the parts, which then act as electrodes. A front wall part (4) of the cage (1) is configured in such a way that it overhangs the side wall parts (3) and the arc (6) is only formed on said front wall part. The weld is produced by means of the softened surfaces being joined together with a slight pressure. |
