PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored mortar easy to prepare at a job site and capable of immediate application by kneading a colored emulsion prepd. by uniformly mixing and dispersing a pigment in a synthetic resin emulsion with powdery mortar. SOLUTION: A colored emulsion prepd. by uniformly mixing and dispersing a pigment in a synthetic resin emulsion is added by 1-20 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. powdery mortar and they are kneaded. The synthetic resin is, e.g. ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, acrylic resin or SBR resin. When the pigment is alkaline and the emulsion is acidic, it is preferable that about 0.1-5% surfactant having an HLB of 15-19 is previously added to the emulsion because an increased concn. of the pigment is liable to deteriorate the stability of the emulsion. The objective colored mortar capable of easily preparing many colors is obtd. without affecting transportation cost even when the number of colors used at a job site is large. |
