PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound quality after a speaker tone is converted and to reduce calculation amounts for converting the speaker tone when the speaker tone is converted. SOLUTION: As a sample of a means improving the sound quality after the speaker tone is converted, when an LPC coefficient of the speech to be converted uttered by a before conversion speaker (speaker A) is converted to LPC coefficient space of an after conversion speaker (speaker B) based on a movement vector, the characteristic data of the after conversion speaker nearest to the LPC coefficient converted to the LPC coefficient space of the after conversion speaker are obtained based on the movement vector, and the obtained LPC coefficient of the after conversion speaker is used as the after conversion LPC coefficient of the voice to be converted, and speech synthesis is performed based on the after conversion LPC coefficient and a unit waveform answering pulse obtained from the speech data of the before conversion speaker. Further, as a method reducing the calculation amounts, the LPC coefficient space is made a code book, and is divided to plural areas, and distance calculation is performed in the area that the LPC coefficient exists or the area close to it. |
