DISPLAY METHOD FOR DATA BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the display method for a data base which displays data included in the data base in three dimensions so that they are viewed from an arbitrary easy-to-see position. SOLUTION: This display method for the data base in hierarchical structure displays the data of the data base in areas 46 and 47 in three dimensions. A camera 111 is arranged in the virtual space where they are displayed and the position of the camera and the distance between the camera and display are changed associatively with changes of the position and field angle of the camera to change the state of the three-dimensional display. The camera is moved on the cylindrical surface of a virtual cylinder which is variable in radial distance set on the outer periphery of the three-dimensional display area so that the photographic direction is set along the center axis of the virtual cylinder.
