PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform the confirmation of an incoming call by dividing a facsimile signal to be sent into plural packets with a sending means, sequentially adding number information to it to send it through a wide area network, returning a message that receiving is normally performed by a receiving means and making a resending request for a packet that has not been received normally. SOLUTION: A facsimile communicating part 3 divides a facsimile signal to be sent into plural packets, adds IP addresses, etc., of a sending destination and a sending source and sends them. A receiving data deciding part 5 outputs a decision signal of normal receiving to a normal information returning part 6 when there is no packet that does not arrive yet, and outputs packet information to a resending requesting part 7, when there is a packet that does not arrive yet. The part 6 outputs a control signal to a sending part 3, so that an electronic mail may be returned to a facsimile transmission destination. The part 7 instructs the part 3 to send an electronic mail that shows a receiving error signal after a fixed time. |
