<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system and the method to provide the telemarketing service through a hypertext network where the telemarketing server system is interconnected to a customer's computer and computer of an agent. SOLUTION: A telemarketing server 11 receives a telemarketing request from a customer 13, and if an agent 14 copes with the request, the request is transferred to the request, and if the agent 14 cannot cope with the request, the request is transferred to a queue. When the agent 14 receives the request, a schedule is made in a way that communication is immediately set up between the customer 13, and the agent 14 or the communication is made later. Since the telemarketing function is executed via a hypertext network 12 independently of a media transportation function, it is not required to concentrate agents 14 for the telemarketing to an area geographically.</p> |
