PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate purchase of consumable articles without a troublesome work, by printing with a printing means consumable article information including data that can designate identification information of a predetermined consumable article when a degree of consumption of the predetermined consumable article reaches a predetermined level showing that the article is to be exchanged. SOLUTION: A CPU 21 detects the amount of remaining ink from an output signal of a remaining ink sensor 34. When the amount of remaining ink is detected to be smaller than a predetermined value, the CPU 21 judges that the ink in an ink cartridge runs short and prints an order slip. That is, the CPU 21 extracts consumable article information for the detected ink cartridge as a consumable article from a consumable article information memory means 24a of a RAM 24, sets the extracted consumable article information to an area of printing data indicating the order slip and carries out a process of printing an image of the order slip based on the printing data with the use of a printer engine 32. Accordingly, a trouble of checking the consumable article information necessary for ordering is eliminated. |
