PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify the direction in which a side air bag swells out from a seat back. SOLUTION: A side air bag 12 is fixed to a side bracket 26 of a seat back 18 through an air bag bracket 28, and surrounded about horizontally by a backing cloth 40 arranged with a gap 38. Then the ends 40a, 40b of the backing cloth 40 are separately stitched and connected to the front end of a gore part 22-1 and the side end of a main part 22-2 of a trim cover 22. The suture ends of respective terminals of the backing cloth 40 are mutually sewed up and connected as an suture part 34 capable of being torn under the condition of expansion of the side air bag. |
