PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full color image which can be employed as a medical image requiring high sharpness. SOLUTION: Individual ink layers of an ink sheet having respective ink layers containing a chelate type type sublimation dye having different color of chelate coloring matter in surface order are faces with the image receiving layer containing a metal ion compound of an image receiving sheet and thermally transferred sequentially image wise to form an image where the overlapping shift of the chelate coloring matter image is 65 μm or less. The image element is formed by supporting the image receiving sheet on a rigid body and determining the transfer position by the carrying amount of the rigid body. The rigid body is a metallic rigid body serving as a carrying guide for the image receiving sheet and the image element is formed by thermal transfer employing a thermal head. |
