PARALLEL CORRELATION PROCESSING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a real-time correlation process for a high-speed pseudo- random signal (PN) signal) by using an existing DSP(digital signal processor). SOLUTION: A spectrum spread communication type receiver distributes a receive signal including a PN signal of spread code length 2 and a signal speed S to output terminals D1 to DP by chips through a signal conversion part 2, and PN signals (signal speed S/P) sampled by P chips are inputted to P correlation processing blocks B1 to BP which are provided in parallel. In the respective correlation processing blocks B1 to BP, P correlation processing units are provided, partial correlation processes are performed by using reverse spread patterns of 2 /P chips generated from reverse spread patterns, and correlation results are outputted from the respective correlation processing blocks B1 to BP. The outputs are rearranged in series on the time base by a signal speed conversion part 4 and outputted.
