摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uneven object image input device by which an image without much distortion can be obtained. SOLUTION: This fingerprint image input device 10 consists of an image input part 12, a contact order judging part 14, a control part 16, a memory part 18, a display part 20, and a numeric pad 22. The image input part 12 consists of a lighting device 24, a guide 26, a CCD 28, an FOP 30, a first contact sensor 32 which detects that the root of a finger touches the measuring surface of the FOP 30, and a second contact sensor 34 which detects that the finger tip touches the measuring surface of the FOP 30. The contact order judging part 14 is to judge which is sooner between the time t1 when the distal phalanx part touches the measuring surface of the FOP 30 and the time t2 when the center of the fingerprint part touches the measuring surface of the FOP 30. And only when t1 is sooner than t2, the control part 16 will take an inputted image into the memory part 18.
