DARK-COLORED TRANSPARENT ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE FILM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a dark-colored transparent electrically conductive film having function to suppress surface reflection from the screen of CRT and suitable for use as an electric field shield because of its superior electric conductivity. SOLUTION: This dark-colored transparent electrically conductive film has a two-layered structure consisting of a transparent electrically conductive film contg. superfine powder of metal ruthenium having 0.005-0.05μm average particle diameter dispersed in the silicate matrix as a lower layer on a glass substrate and a silicate film formed as an upper layer on the transparent electrically conductive film. The metal ruthenium-contg. transparent electrically conductive film is formed by coating the glass substrate with transparent electrically conductive ink prepd. by dispersing superfine powder of ruthenium oxide in a solvent, accelerating deoxidation reaction by heating in a reducing gas and carrying out firing.
